Application for trainings on the application of tax incentives under the Corporate Income Tax Law for the knowledge industry
We invite you to apply for one-day training on the application of tax incentives under the Law on Corporate Income Tax for the knowledge industry, which includes incentives for investment in innovative activities and R&D activities.
The training will be held on November 6, from 9am to 3pm at the ICT Hub, at Kralja Milana 10 street (entrance from Devojacki park). Attendance to the training is free of charge and open to all interested companies which comply to the conditions below.
you intend to do research or development in the Republic of Serbia, or you are already doing it,
you intend to commercially exploit the intellectual property you created (copyright, related right, patent), or already are doing so,
if you are a start-up innovative company* and you expect or plan to attract other investors in the coming period, or have already attracted such an investment,
if you are an investor planning to invest in a start-up undertaking an innovative activity, or have already invested in such a start-up
(*start-up company engaged in innovation is a company that was founded less than 3 years ago, where the company performs activities to create new products, technologies, processes and services or significantly change existing ones, in accordance with market needs)
Apply for training by November 4 by 6pm at firstname.lastname@example.org. Registration is made informally by email, providing the following information: the names of the participants, the name of the company you represent, and the place where the company is registered.
Due to limited number of participants, please register as soon as possible. The organizing team reserves the right to reject your application if you do not meet any of the above conditions, or recommend a different training term if all training slots are taken.
USAID Cooperation for Growth Project in collaboration with Deloitte d.o.o. In the coming period, Belgrade will conduct trainings for the application of Articles 22g, 25b and 50j of the Corporate Income Tax Law. Article 22g introduces the possibility of double recognition of costs directly related to the R&D performed by the taxpayer in the Republic. Article 25b introduces a special tax treatment of revenue from intellectual property. Article 50j introduces a tax credit for investors who invest in innovative start-up companies.
Deloitte tax experts with extensive experience in this field will guide participants through the conditions prescribed for the application of these incentives, practical examples and potential challenges that they may expect in their application. Participants will have at their disposal materials detailing the structure of the legal provisions and the examples in which they apply.
