Pojacalo meetup 006: digital transformation

More than 250 entrepreneurs and those who wish to become one took part in the last, sixth Pojacalo meetup, held on December 18 in Dom omladine in Belgrade. In the full hall, with participation of inspiring speakers, they had the chance to hear useful messages on digital transformation, but also about other phenomena surrounding entrepreneurship and business today.

Participants in the panel with the topic “What is digital transformation and how it can help your business to grow?” were Goran Pitic (Metropolitan University - FEFA), Momir Djekic (TeleGroup), Mihajlo Jovanovic (Office for Information Technologies and e-Government, Government of the Republic of Serbia), Milos Mijic (Domaće kiflice) and Tanja Kuzman (PwC Serbia). They shared their views and insights on how business innovation and digital transformation can unlock SME growth potential, improve business processes and help reach more customers and grow market outreach,

In the second part of the program, Dragan Sajic, founder of Garden.rs, the first online platform for horticulture products in Serbia, told the story about their success and how this platform successfully positioned itself in its predominantly traditional sector thanks to e-commerce and digital marketing.

During 2019, as part of Pojacalo, we organized a series of inspirational and educational events that attracted more and more interest of small businesses. Pojacalo was founded with support from USAID Cooperation for Growth Project, as part of our activities on strengthening the SME sector. We will continue to support the strengthening of digital awareness among small businesses and the development of a friendly business environment, which enables the growth of the innovative and sustainable small business community.
