Dragana has more than 20 years of professional experience in commercial law practice and reforms in Serbia and 15 years of experience in government policy advising, facilitating private-public dialogue and capacity building of various governmental bodies. As the Deputy Chief of Party at the USAID Bankruptcy and Strengthening Activity and USAID Business Enabling Project, and later USAID BEP’s Chief of Party, she has served as a liaison between USAID and Serbian institutions, organized and led teams of up to 25 Project staff members, and chaired complex regulatory reforms, such as inspections, construction permitting, bankruptcy and enforcement that USAID BEP and USAID BES have implemented. She is the Chief of Party on USAID Cooperation for Growth Project, where she brings her knowledge, expertise and experience, as well as good energy.
Good regulation is all about helping businesses grow and expand, for the benefit of society as a whole. We should never forget that we all live out of the efforts of Serbian private sector.
